Wildrefuge is comprised of 3 separate areas. The 6 acre home, gardens and golf course, the 5 acre beaver pond and the 5 acre farside arboretum style nature park. The house is perched on a 40 foot bluff overlooking the wetlands to the west with a 60 foot setback from the shore. To the south and entrance side is parking for twenty cars. To the front of the home and directly east, a circular driveway, expansive lawns and island style plantings make up the bulk of the gardens.

Going north, the gardens filter off into a park like setting with fir, cedar and maple trees and a 300'x100' woodland meadow/fairway. A winding gravel road leads from the house past the seasonal waterfall to the beach and fishing cabin below.

With over 135 different species of flora and fauna this area creates an environment that is constantly changing in color, shades and hues. To the left lays a 70' x 60' pond. Accessed off a granite patio onto a 15' x 11' wooden plank dock. Dug to a depth of 12' it not only offers excellent swimming, but has been stocked with channel catfish, bass and trout. Great blue heron and our resident osprey are frequent visitors, consequently the trout need to be replenished occasionally.
